Ka'ila Rojales (she/they) founded Inay Herbs from a desire to reconnect people with the healing traditions that have long nourished communities across generations.

Their journey with plants and nourishment began through a personal interest in health and wellness, which later led them to discover a deeper connection to their own family history. Ka'ila's Ama (grandfather) was a botanist who owned and tended a farm in the Philippines.

The heart of Inay Herbs, however, is an ode to their grandmother, lovingly called Inay ("mother" in Tagalog) by everyone in the family. Through her cooking, she cared for her family and community, famously selling homemade empanadas to help provide for those she loved. Just as Inay nourished her community through food, Ka'ila hopes to nourish theirs through her herbal blends in hopes to help people feel more connected to themselves.

Today, Inay Herbs serves as an extension of the values innately etched within her by honoring the earth and believing that healing can begin with something as simple as acknowledging the medicine that Mother Earth generously provides for us.
